Ruotsalainen was fantastic at development camp and in his two exhibition games played. The kid is a keeper--- next season. Give him one more year in Finland before he transfers to a leadership role in Rochester.
Sabres cannot "cut" Sobotka. This isn't fantasy sports, a video came you can mash the reset button on. It's real life in the NHL. I like Sobotka in B6. He was 8-4 on the dot vs. Blue Jax, 14-5 FO vs. Leafs Friday night. Faceoffs matter in Krueger's system |

And there’s no chance Casey Nelson gets through waivers...so that’s Scandella, Nelson, and the inevitable Ristolainen trade they’d have to deal with.
We can’t lose three defensemen and expect to compete in Buffalo and Rochester.
(CJ Smith probably gets claimed too...it’s a shame the kid hasn’t been given a legit shot in Buffalo to earn a spot, he’s improved every year so far.) |
